Fateful Day

On a fateful day,
in the month of May...
I was sitting at the bay.

The load was locked
and the truck was chocked.
I had come to bury my secret
beneath the the waves ...

A man in black was a holding a sack
as he stopped to view the grey.
He said that oil slick is the fault of the rich
and went on about his way.

What was in the bag? What secrets did he have?
This scary man in black What did he mean about the rich and their greed?
I did not dare to ask
On that fateful day.

What I witnessed I won't say ...
all I know is I'll never go back!
Back to the bay in the month of May for
I have changed and I'll never be the same!
