Father, I am In your hands!

Synopsis:Â The word "crucifixion" is originated and derived, comes from the Latin crucifixion or "crucifixus," meaning "fixed to a cross". Roman crucifixion was an ancient method of merciless killing in which the victim's hands and feet were tied up and nailed to a cross. It was one of the most painful and disgraceful methods of punishment. Victims were usually beaten and tortured and then forced to carry their own cross to the crucifixion site. The Roman cross was formed of wood, typically with a vertical stake and a horizontal cross beam near the top. Christian theology teaches that Jesus Christ was crucified on a wooden Roman Cross, which was the most painful, perfect and complete sacrifice for the sins all of mankind, thus making the crucifix, or cross, one of the central themes and defining Symbols of Christianity. - WILLIAMSJI MAVELI

Father! I am In your hands,
I now place my spirit !
It was after the mid-day hours;
The sun stopped shining;
Heavy darkness covered;
The sky became pale;
The temple curtain torn into two
Dead bodies in the tombs trembled;
Mary Magdalene went away,
Beating on her breast in sorrow;
She wept and slept in tears;
All others went back home,
Weeping on his crucifixion:
But He said to Himself:
" Father! I am In your hands,
Now I place my spirit ! "
