I'd brandish armor to protect your heart
from all who'd wish to harm your every thought.
I rest your head from weary times and start
to care for wounds from battles you have fought.
 
Since skies don't fall and heavens still have reign,
my needs for you will comfort every breath.
I'll soothe your mind where colors all remain
and not a single flower's bound by death.
 
Preserving love's my plight and gift to you
