Father's Day in Heaven

I wonder where you are up there, are you gliding over mountain tops? Catching fish with your talons? Standing under the grand waterfall? 

Where are you my sweet angel? Can you see me smiling at you? Can you smell the salt from the tears that flow from the memories of you? Are you sitting there laughing with Mom and Sis? 

Where are you my friend? Are you whispering in my ear everything will be ok? Are you standing beside me with your hand on my shoulder? Holding my hand as I cry and shiver?

I know you are up there living life for the first time. I know you are up there waiting  for us. I know you are up there guiding us with your wisdom. I know you are up there, because I see you.

I see you! I hear you! And I can feel your love! I miss you my sweet dad. I miss the wonders you carried, the shield you carried and the light you carried.
