Poem -

Fear

I fear the thoughts you make me think
My tortured mind too weak to fight it
Infiltrating my dreams as I close my eyes
I fear those thoughts you make me think

You consume me every second every minute
You have rendered me unable to defend myself
I want to fight you yet I do not have the strength
Cause you consume me every second every minute

I need to find that inner strength inside me
The strength that you have drained from my body
The control that you have taken from me
So I need to find that inner strength inside me

This is a battle that I have to try and overcome
With every ounce of strength left in my body
To regain control and take back what you stole
Yes it's a battle that I have to try and overcome
