Fear

Fear

Fear here you are again
The further I bury you
The more fierce you become
You’ve met all my skeletons
They lay in your graveyard
Everyday you threaten to cast to them away
Into the world to be seen
I drink and I dine
I do anything I can to hid
From you
My fear
You’ve been with me since birth
I can’t hate you
For it’s your presence that keeps me alive
You are also the reason I want to die
My barrier ; my logic my tormentor
Fear
