Fear

My family don't know that I write
That I share with strangers on this site

My fear of their reaction
Makes this a lonely action
Keeps it a secret 
But not a regret

I fear they won't understand
The words leave my brain
And travel to my hand
And to keep me sane
They have to come out
They have to be read
Or I'm filled with dread

No, nobody knows that I write
I only share with you on this site.
