Feeling Summer Sunny!

Floating through the stratosphere 
on a sunshine laser beam
Like a feather on a butterfly 
a crazy abstract picture in the sky

A Universal yellow presence 
flickers on lenses, sears the soul
cleansing aches of Winter past
all but Summer tomorrows out to last

An ocean spray of children's smiles 
echoes through a green meadow breeze
all tip toeing in a grass of Summer's glad
to hold like candy floss and taste of toffee apples had

With a glowing horizon of golden heat 
thawing frozen bones and lungs de-iced
stepping into sands and waves a flush
a sucking energy revitalising Summer crush

Skin and body parts flare bare anew
embrace the wonder of a novel Summer sun
A kaleidoscope of rainbow rays to stream
ignite a passion in  Earth and mind to dream

Of laying in satin sands a rest 
or swimming in a vat of ice cream 
that tastes of strawberries and cream teas
breathing the flower's scent of perfume sprayed by bees
 
A felt paradise with a Summer's crown jewel
the Sun without it's hat and out to blaze
raises happy pheromones over scale
a big breath experience of Summer to inhale

Sunny shimmer encased ambience 
quenching all thirsty ageing cells
transports you to youth of yesterday
remembering instantly  a nostalgic day 
with endless  sun and joyful play

And there remain in twilight pleasure
reality and dreams all intertwined
Walk once more a treasured time
be in the golden moment and mingle 
with the super splendid shine
