Fell Apart

As I looked in her eyes that oneΒ last time. Tears rolled down my face. This woman cannot be replaced. Her chest stopped moving as her eyes close shut. Death had taken her last breath. As I cried I couldn't see she won't be beside me. I felt heavy, I felt sorrow. I would not see her tomorrow. Warm hands would no longer wipe these tears. As I looked at her one last time I knew she was no longer mine. I hold her to my heart. Death had taken her as my world fell apart. I would no longer hear her laugh. No longer feel her touch. These slight memories are not enough. My heart ache you won't ever be replaced. A place in myΒ heart. I still look for you when my world falls apart. Broken and alone oh how I've grown. Death has taken you fromΒ me. How could this be? I no longer feel free. As our memories haunt me.

Beautiful poem
Thank you.
awesome write.
nicely written poem linda
My deepest condolences for your loss.
Hi Katie,
I know of your pain, for I am a virtuoso at surviving it. Β I have punched in twenty-one months of slavish labor at the heartbreak factory. Β But I have learned that our dearly departed live on through us, and as the tears inundate our souls, we need to record our every lament, so that we can immortalize them forever. Β So keep your pen at your side and chronicle for the world all the joys that she and you shared. Powerful write. Β Welcome to Cosmo.
Hugs, Peace and Love,
xox Larry
