FIGHT OF OUR LIVES

FIGHT OF OUR LIVES

We're in the fight, the fight of our lives
They don't want you to live, don't even try
It's cost money to live, it cost money to die
Got a right hand from my boss, left hook from stock
Down here they're foreclosing dreams, Tearing down the block

We're in the fight the fight of our lives
In the form of debit, not steel knives
We're in the fight the fight of our lives
A massive depression, career suicide

The Old town has changed but we're still looking back
Separated by your bank account, a side of the track
Afraid to get sick, someone will take your place
Ain't like the old days, trying to pass first base
Wherever you look, foreclosed dreams
We always pay for what came free, or so it seems

We're in the fight the fight of our lives
In the form of debit, not a steel knife
We're in the fight the fight of our lives
A massive depression, career suicide
