On the silver screen they oozed so much sex appeal
The film actresses from the fifties were the real deal
Men went weak at the sight of their attractive face
Their hair was always pretty never out of place

The trademark for these ladies was always a cigarette
They must have smoked thousands I'm willing to bet
For me these ladies still have panache and charm
When they carried their guns they would cause you no harm

If I need to escape I put on a black and white DVD
So much comfort and joy in the actress I see 
I close my eyes later wishing I could go back in time
To be part of a film set which depicts the ultimate crime
