Finally coming back!!

Deep into hell I forgot myself

Losing control of all I use to know

How did my life get so low?

I forgot all I was ever told

Beat down and dried out

I could hardly shout

Forgot what my life was really about

So close to giving up on hope

But I never walked away

I believed in a brighter day

I was a fool to be used as such a tool

Now all that’s left of the old me

Is the lesson I choose to see

No one will ever take away the best of me

Im finally coming back

Stronger and wiser

My mind works faster

And I refuse to lose who I am

I can get through so much more

Than I ever could before

A lesson isn’t truly learnt

Till you go through it yourself

And Having faith in yourself

Is the greatest strength

To your mental health

Good things come to those who wait

So I learnt not to hate

I picked myself up

It’s crazy what you can do

When you can leave your past behind you

A negative touch

Can hold you back from so much
