There's not an order I could manage
To arrange these words just right
I'm aware there's no advantage
Tryna win this with a fight
But do think it needs addressing
And should not be left ignored
Hope you agree this is depressing
With out you I'm getting bored
Close as we've quickly come to be
Some things are just hard to say
But its obvious for all to see
Feel you're perfection in every way
Never forget I love what we've got
And forever onto that I'll hold
Tho wish we'd given more of a shot
Left to wonder how it might unfold
Not saying we should reconsider
Options before our bond was born
And don't ever assume that I'm bitter
but from time to time I feel torn
Can't take you from me at any cost
Never know what you mean to me
No you, and I'd be even more lost

Very heartfelt write and very resonating as I went through a tough breakup last year and all these thoughts are very similar to the ones I had . I realized I had to make myself happy before I could expect anyone else to , not an easy task but a much needed one in order to have a future healthy relationship .
I respect poets that write from the heart and aren’t afraid of self exposure to convey their feelings and the rawness of this write bleeds through the pen . ❤️
