Finding what life's about living for

As an addict we once lost all faith and hope,
all thanks to the devil's drug dope.
It's told so many believable lies,
said it could take away all of our cries.
Man did we become so incredibly blind,
If only it would have been easy to have declined.

 When we got tired of being broken we found a program,
of course at first we may have thought it to be a scam.
Being a part of this group we feel loved like never before,
and we remember what life is about living for.
