Fingerprints In Concrete

I loved it, the way he caressed my feelings the way a doe
does a newborn fawn.
His words wrapped around my brain like a snake.. I believed
every lie he told me.
He took my heart in his hands and cradled it  like a dove..
But he didn't break it, No he did worse..
See if he were to have broken it i could've found my pieces over
time, but instead he took it.
And left..
I begged him to give me my own if he were to leave that's fine but i need whats mine
but he simply curved in a small smile and said
"Makayela it was never yours it was his"
