Fire & Hailstones

So deep the anger; and perish my smile; and live my ghost;

And soar her dreams. The edge a climb: a downward sky:

We leap; and birds and pearls and gems and beads; and she

Stares: a diamond scream; and something wakes: an absent

Year; and something sleeps: to calm the storm; and swim

My light; and such color: a brilliant anger; and such terse: a

Wire walk; and brick and dust and rain and fuss and time

And death and life and theft; and she stares: a thousand

Airs; and I pierce heart: a dripping wound; and forest scars—

Resurrect; and new scars: tease and mock and wail and cry;

And life the myth: a substance dry; and oil leaks: a partial

Prank; and turtles crawl—moving fast; and rabbits streak:

A passion slow; and ever red: a sea of prayers; and ever green:

A web of hells.
