“Fire We Make” (Inspired by Alicia Keys)

It lingers the heart—a sheer reflection. And such tangibility—
A neighbor’s joy. The symbol—a manifestation—akin to
Calm. Such particles of ice, the midst of flame. My glacier
Saint, a nimbus tear. And such bliss, a lambent pang. The
River has spoken dreams: the sky has sung the soul: and
Wings, an infant angel. My candle love, a moth has
Perished—and resurrected flame. Such parable, the fire
We make—a flock of visions. My mirror, familiar eyes; and
Such prayer, familiar waves. Cry the fire—a passion rare—
For halos, scorch the winds. And such increase, a rising
Fire; and such mystery, a touchless vase. My science, a
Psychic war; and my spark, a sickle deep. Alert the flame,
A mystic burns. And such fire, a contagious flare. And
Such clarity, a human torch.
