Fireflies

Watching fireflies dance is like looking at the stars in an open area without light around
It’s like listening to music without sound
A peaceful place
As if the fire flies are singing a song
If you see that your heart will definitely sing along
As graceful as a hummingbird drinking nectar
This feeling is exquisite for sure
Feeling lighter than air
At this moment there is no care
The prodigious feeling you get when you see a Tiger Lily open up
This will bring you from a half empty to a full cup
To witness this is astronomical at its best
It will beat the heart in your chest
The breathtaking scene in front of you at night
Changing your point of you changing your site
Your state of mind
It will change to look forward never rewind
This is watching fire flies dance
If you get it take the chance

I don't know about the Tiger Lily opening...but I DO know that, as a child, the feeling you get when playing among them is VERY memorable.....we'd put them in jars and keep them in our room so to watch their lights blink....my Grandparents would come in, while we slept, and then let them go.....but oh the feeling of running around with them blinking on & off all around you was truly magical!!...especially as a child!!...ALL STARS!!…..well done JORDAN!!…..and......WELCOME to COSMO!!…..LOVE & ROCKETS!!….T xo : )
I'm jealous, we don't get fireflies in Ireland but I am moving to Canada soon so hopefully I'll get to catch a glimpse of your poetry in motion.
Welcome to Cosmo.
