Motorcycle ride

Bike ride 

Wind blowing all around my body as I ride on this open road
Clutch in gear down I’m in first 
Release the clutch get that momentum burst
Driving slow at first getting the feel 
Switch into second rubber is starting to peel 
Gaining more speed as we go
Always looking around prepared to stop or go slow
Now into third we are
Smooth steady ride so far
Fourth and gaining speed
The wind pushes against me
Gear number five
The sixth one is were it all comes alive
Finally at the top 
Still always ready to stop
Coming up to a small town
If you listen you can hear me shift down 
Stopped at a couple stop sign 
Now it’s back to open highway instead
After a long days ride it’s off to bed
Out on another day
An exciting ride today in bed I shell stay
