The First Date

The First Date

The woman with hazel eyes talks

The man never takes his eyes away

From her moving lips

the angle of her nose

The colour of her hair

His senses stirring

By the perfection of her sentences

The stream of thought that flows

from her naked mind

one plate of salad is given to him

They share it with one fork

And he notices a piece of lettuce

on her chin

Reaches over and wipes it away

With his thumb and index finger

While she stays still

Posed in her sweetest smile

And he thinks she is impossibly delicious

Thank you sister, and yes it does sound like a wonderful first date with lots of magic and flowing conversation, a little wine, a Heineken or two, some personal history revealed, laughter and it seems to me that there may have been some sparks as well....I love your comments sis, just saying,  :D

Very sweet!  Indeed, first dates human behavior in perfection.

But after dating a month, "ya better roll down the window dear, cause I'm about to fart."
