Even though you were my first love I still dream that you'll be my last but in reality I know you won't because you're with her

There's so many things we want to say to each other but we can't because we're no longer together

I miss our late night phone how we were able to joke about everything and we could say anything we wanted we didn't judge each other why couldn't you be my wife's instead of my first love

I hate seeing the pictures of you and her kissing and hugging and I hate the thought of you two being together I wish I wasn't so jealous of her

We have told each other goodbye so many times but we always find a way back in each other's life everyone says it's because we were first loves but I hold on to my hope at it means you're meant to be together forever
