Poem -

first love

first love

Brisk winds rattle the window,
I am too engulfed in your warmth to fear.

Eyes wonder in your direction,
I am too occupied by your soul to leer.

Sirens cry out in the populous streets,
I am too lost in our world to worry.

Time selfishly tramples over life,
I am too involved in our moment to hurry.

Love is an uninhabited island,
I am too adventurous to leave it unexplored.

Love is a beautiful experience...Nothing else seems to matter if one is in love...I love the format you used
