unnatural nurturer

unnatural nurturer

A simple knock on the door
No reply
Suddenly I begin to wonder why
You lock yourself away
Attempting to hide

With such an innocent mind
I had no idea
What was happening inside
A prisoner you were
Enough, I cry

No longer can I deny
She hates me
Why else would she need to get high
Shattered to pieces I hopelessly
Still wait to say goodbye
