On First Sight
I now see life for all of its glory
But that was not always my story
Once all seemed fake and distant
Everything changed in an instant
A first fleeting glance of your face
The pieces began to fall into place
Your smiling eyes stirred that in me
Which I knew was truly meant to be
I then had to fix my gaze upon you
To see if my dreams had come true
Those eyes met mine and we were sure
The love found here would always endure !
