Fish Out Of Water

Fish Out Of Water

In the depths of the ocean blue,
Lived a little fish, so sad and so true.
It swam in circles, day and night,
Never finding a place that felt just right.

It longed for friends, to share its days,
To laugh and play, in so many ways.
But all it found, were creatures that feared,
And thus it swam, all alone, tear after tear.

It longed for freedom, to see the sky,
To feel the sun, and not just glide by.
But alas, it was trapped in this underwater world,
Where it would stay, forever unfurled.

It cried and it cried, till the ocean was filled,
With the sadness of this little fish, so still and so stilled.
And so it remains, in this lonely place,
A fish out of water, in a world full of grace.
