Parrot Lost And Alone

Parrot Lost And Alone

A parrot lost and all alone,
With feathers bright and voice of tone.

It soars above the city streets,
In search of its owner, with sorrowful beats.

It calls out its name, with a voice so sad,
Hoping to hear a familiar sound, that once made it glad.

Days and nights, it searches high and low,
With no sign of its owner, a sight it longs to know.

It flies past tall buildings, and through the busy square,
Hoping to find a glimpse of its owner, with love and care.

But every day it returns, to its empty cage,
With a broken heart, a sadness that fills the page.

It sings a mournful tune, a song of despair,
For the one it loves, is nowhere to be found, no one to be there.

Oh how the parrot longs to be held,
In its owner's arms, to feel love and to be held.

But until then, it will fly and search,
In the hope that someday, its owner will return.
