Fishies in our dishies ?

Ooh that’s my regular Thursday’s delivery van just been
Jim the fishman brought me seafood all filleted and clean

I chose a nice piece of trout that will do for me and I liked the look of the whole hake for my husband’s tea
So I have pealed some spuds and I have a tin of minted garden peas
and along with some tartare sauce that meal will please

It doesn’t take much to keep my man’s belly happy and apart from any pasta dishes he isn’t a finicky fussy chappy
Which is really just as well in these days of isolation sometimes meal times can be a challenge and indeed a frustration

So I will complete this last verse of this little ditty and here’s hoping my readers find it amusing and witty
Well the pan of spuds are boiling and the fishies are under the grill
