Five more minutes

Five more minutes

The wrath has finally washed ashore -

My long awaited storm.

Streets devoid of passerby -

My world is quite forlorn.

The wreckage has finally found the beach -

Seems my ships come in.

Clothes in tatters, shoes are soaked -

Torrential rains begin.

I've nowhere left to hang my hat -

It was ripped right from my grasp.

Blackened clouds so threatining -

Darkness closing in.

The moon, it seems is bleeding -

The sky be an angry scar.

Somewheres an anxious bleating -

As I awake to my alarm.

(just five more minutes, please).
