Fix It!

Those feelings that stop you from walking,
Those feelings that tell you, you can’t,
Those feelings that cause that blocking,
Those feelings that start a rant.

The you says that you have time,
It says that you can try tomorrow,
It states that it’s too high to climb,
You says that you will end in sorrow.

Your feet tell you no,
Your eyes want to be closed,
Your heart doesn’t want another blow,
Your brain feels enclosed.

You spirit picks you up,
Tells you your reasons,
Says it’s now that you can’t drop,
You remember the promise you made last season.

Your mirror tells you to grind,
Your eyes want to shine,
You no longer feel blind,
Your feet itches to cross the line.

You worked so hard to fix it,
You wanted a shot at success
So you choose to aim for it, 
And you choose to forget all the stress.

All you have to do is tell yourself what to do,
Remember the results,
Forget the consequences,
A cup was made for each one of us,
You have to reach to grab it,
You have to forget the excuses,
Everyone can make those,
But not everyone can reach that cup
And aim for another,
All that matters in this world is your view,
You can be whatever you want,
But you have to really want it,
You can’t give up halfway,
You have to want it harder than you want to go out,
You have to make sure that you try,
And if you fail you can try again,
You’re not a failure if you fail,
Study what you did before;
How you did it,
How much you did it for,
The fuel that fuels your spirit,
Try harder and aim for higher,
If people have done it before you can do it better.
