Poem -

A Flame Burning Cold

If love is desire
Yet desire not love
What do we hold closest,
Which one comes above?
If one we catch first
Yet The other is strongerĀ
should instinct be followed,
Or the one which lasts longer?
If desire then transforms
Becomes something more
Do we follow emotion,
Or simply ignore?
Yet it is never that simple
Complications
Situations
Fluctuations in heartbeat
Knowing the strings in your hearts mightn't not meet,
Signals alterĀ
People falterĀ
Feelings wane
People change
Vibes confuseĀ
People lose
Chances die. People cry.Ā
You forget desire
Forget the love
Forget the emotion
Forget the choice
Forget the chanceĀ
You forget it all but oneĀ
You never forget regret.Ā
Ā Ā
Ā
