Poem -

"Flesh & Blood, Bone & Stone"

I am my own fortress home

My Castle Haven upon the hill.

Hewn by the many years of struggle

Built brick by brick with long labor & intent.

Tall the walls that surround me

And deep the wells stored within.

Few, if any have ventured to explore

The labyrinth of catacombs I enclose.

Not the rust of a thousand winters

Nor any kind of grief

Can erode the shinning speldor

Of my personal, inner sanctuary-

Constructed without pity or relief!
