Flicker of the Flame III

Seldom is the depth of this love. This mystic magic, as sacred as
Velvet dreams. Such florid visions, the ache of passion, my
Heart upon the sword. And never has this nonentity loved a soul
As I love my chantress. Thus I toil to manifest, the breath of life,
For my love, a diamond aflame. Wherefore the soul, privy to
Light, falling unto ascension. And my love, a royal parable,
Digging into my psyche. Whereby I soar, lost in dreams, a
Soldier at the peak of his glory. Thus a glimpse is given, the
Shoulder of God, painted in gold. And at the steepness of my
Being, a burning ember, the flicker of my flame; for my love, host
Of the banquet, as graceful as grail. Wherefore I long for the hand
Of majesty, adrift paradise, awake in my anguish. Such joy,
The grief of our portrait, for my love, unyielding in faith. But I
Dare to believe, unto a glimmer of Spirit, unto matrimony and bliss.
