FLIGHT HOME 

Born ten decades minus one as a tender plant he grew out of a dry ground

Through seasons of great training and discipline shook his roots till balance was regained

A counselor of world leaders generationally  and proud friend of Israel

Heaven's ink man making mysteries plain for accessibility by the majority

A celebrated father of Faith and prominent voice of truth speaking through to power

Finally boards his flight home what a loss in our world and gain above

The world shook a gigantic shift as a general in the move of the Spirit fulfilled his sojourn in the far country

Exemplary steward in divine service faithful as a son in the household of Faith heir of the kingdom

A great star has crossed the sky ascending back to his maker as sweet odour burnt all out nothing left

Curtains drawn aback celestial eternal door thrown wide opened

Angels transport a heaven bound soldier amidst shouts of praise to the harvester of men

Who has well lived in flesh flash to his exalted realm triumphantly settled in rest

Wise son making a proud Father full of the Spirit and good report of truth

Living lights moving chariots of torches hustling a great train of uncountable escorts

Lead the way into the golden city of all dreams

A good fight has been won the course finished a winner in the race has emerged

The crown that does not fade in view for  the overcomer

Living is Christ dying is gain a reunion with God

Victory songs fill the air the enemy defeated his hands shortened

Hero sleep on our path cross that resurrection morning
