Flight of imagination

Flight of imagination

Will I go to Narnia if I open my wardrobe door ?
I wonder if I wish hard enough
will I hear the lions roar ?
Mind you I don’t want to see the wicked witch she sounds awfully cruel
So I will not open my wardrobe door coz I am not a fool

When I’m reading Peter Pan children’s story book
shall I fly with Tinker Bell and spy on Captain Hook ?
I could join the Lost boys with Wendy and Tiger Lily
I wouldn’t want to meet Tic Toc the Croc coz he’s a silly billy

Now I’d love to live with Jane and Michael
Oh please let me see Mary Poppins
Just imagine the fun and fantasies I could witness when we did our shoppin’
Then I would hold my umbrella and fly high in the sky
and when it was time to go home well I would bid them all goodbye

Famous fictional fantasies
they fill our lives with laughter
the ones that are so lovable with a happy ever after
Films, books and pantomimes are full of fairyland fabrication
Our fantastic fool’s paradise in a flight of imagination
