Floral Wishes

I wish flowers grew

From every nick that left a scar

I wish I bled petals

And every word I ever said

Would leave a flower in your heart

I wish flowers were as strong

As the drugs that engulf your veins

Somedays I feel

As if hope is all I have left

And even then I find myself

Wishing for death
