Flower Games

Flower Games

Withered by the sunย
Who dares to send its beams upon meย
Like a corpse shattered upon the worldย
By the unmerciful gaze of it's Godย
Struck down as I wept bitterly; threw petals at the sky
The sinners hands who cast a ray on the chrysanthemumย
That grew to understand it's dark soilย
Only to be plucked away too fast, oh, too fastย
To be torn apart petal by divine petalย
Only to be cast back into the dirtย
Broken and mourned I cried aloud to that fateful skyย
"And what have I done to such a cruel world, in order to deserve the games flowers are subjected to play?"
The sky did not answer as my soul wept so forthย
"And what have I, a corpse been of deserving? To deserve this purgatory on the cruel stoned world?"
The soul may weep but none may hearย
For eternity I may watch as others play the games flowers playย
The games I played so trueย
