‘Folk Wisdom’❤️

‘Folk Wisdom’❤️

‘A fool says what he knows & a wise man knows exactly what he says’
Wow isn’t this such a true proverb
In the most unambiguous of ways ?

I simply adore these ancient sayings
They decipher right from wrong
Put thing’s into prospective
A correct folk wisdom for life long

Such witticism & wisecracks
An intelligent way of plain-talk truth
Created in bygone days
By an inventive ‘Wordsmith’ sleuth

‘Absence makes the heart grow fonder’
Yes we can all relate to this
It’s when one is so far away
The heart pines into an abyss

I could reel out a multitude of ethigrams
All of which are precisely true
But I will not bore one with repetitions
Only one finale famous quote for you

‘All good things must come to an end’
How many times has one relayed that ?
I know I’ve worn it ‘around the bend’
Just like a well ‘Scalded cat’
