I simply adore these ancient sayings
They decipher right from wrong
Put thingās into prospective
A correct folk wisdom for life long
Such witticism and wisecracks
An intelligent way of plain-talk truth
Created in bygone days
By an inventive āWordsmithā slueth
āAbsence makes the heart grow fonderā
Yes we can all relate to this
Itās when one is so far away
The heart pines into an abyss
I could reel out a multitude of ethigrams
All of which are precisely true
But I will not bore one with repetitions
Only one finale famous quote for you
āAll good things must come to an endā
How many times has one relayed that ?
I know Iāve worn it āaround the bendā
Just like a well āScalded catā
