Oodles of noodles and puff pastry pork pies sweet apple strudels and skinny french fries
Smoked kippers in kedegree with mashed potatoes and peas
Welsh rarebit’s a favourite with toasted bread and cheese

Beef stew with carrots and onion gravy sauce 
Leek dumplings on the top of this meat dish of course
Good old fashioned Mum’s homemade rice pud
Semolina and tapiaco are both just as good

Food, food fantastical fine food
Guaranteed to tickle the tastebuds and brighten your mood
We eat coz we’re hungry and to make us feel alright
When we get a whiff of something cooking it wakes up our appetite

Hotdogs filled with sausages and beef betwixt burgers
In Germany there bangers are called smokey frankfurters
Smothered with relishes and easy to eat
Gone in a few mouthfulls 
A delicious savoury treat

I don’t care what it is I just love to munch 
Whether it’s inbetween mealtimes or breakfast then lunch
I simply cannot resist the textures and taste 
When my plate is infront of me nothing goes to waste
