Food-to-Go

Food-to-Go

I gave word salad..
I selected P's and Q's
and arranged them
on a plate..
He expected something
meaty like a
steak ballad, or a joint
of full fat jargon,
to digest over days ,
but he got..
something I just
tossed ....
rather apt for seasonal
veg is off..
it wont be satisfying..
it was pass through
digestion like..
a dose of salts...
he'll not go hungry..
There's a kebab
out there..waiting

Being Me

Do you know I reckon there could be loads of puns and things to do with this... I am not clever enough to even come up with any... Lettuce see now, no I just carrot do it... Lol.(my attempt). I heard of word salad from an episode of Boston Legal (loved that programme). I had not heard of it before that or since... Until I read your poem. And you were very clever with it! It's a great poem, Pauline x

I've only heard it on  ( here goes) a Flat Earthers site....recently....and I read stuff like that for information, like religion..and even ' Witchy' sites....its very entertaining reading g how other people think..I've always been obsessed with words .
in our era there wasnt much to do  of a winter's night, but read...inbad light..fascinating...theres a line Ceaser says in The Play...' you serve me a hot dish - Cool  !...'    ( how cool is that  ?)   Mashed  conversations....burnt offerings...its endless...
