Foolish Acts

Boom! What's that?
that's just a fire cracker.
Fire cracker's in Decemeber in the snow,
I don't know.
Boom! boom! boom, everyone hit the floor,
stay low and don't go near the door.
The first boom I heard I knew it was a shot,
Another kid gets killed,
for standing in someone else corner spot.
It's so hard tying to raise your own kids,
in a neighborhood with so much blood shed.
It's crazy how we march and protest when,
someone does harm from another race,
when everyday a mother got close a casket case.
Black on black crime I say no more, nope
before we extinct ourselves which some people hope.
