Poem -

Fools And Beggars...

The fool saves his pennies
Until enough entries
While spending his dollars
To impress life's others

The bigger fool admits
That his dollars don't fit
His budget, but he'll spend
Before he begs he'll lend

The beggar has nothing
He will save his dollars
And spend only pennies
With inconsistencies

For no sooner enough
Dollar escapes entreat
The beggar starts over
His shame without cover

Wise men are hard to find
But for one of a kind
Wise may be the beggar
His forward steps, stagger

Fools save till they can spend
Bigger fools till they lend
The beggar with hands out
And pennies all about

It's not what he looks like
Nor he with the first strike
Direction to struggle
Purse or wallet toggle

You may not be thought wise
But the fool's ways despise
Less you lend being broke
Count pennies, let fools jokeĀ
