Poem -

For My Own Good

I’m too quiet for my own good
Too scared of embracing myself
not letting others see who I am
because I don’t like me

with a false senseΒ
of importance and carefree
How could you approach me?
when all you see is me

Insecurity weighs me down
with heaviness in my heart
i belong to a world
full of emptiness and secrecy

no one will ever really know me
I’m chained to a rockΒ
Of silence and small talk
its a burden I wishΒ
upon no oneΒ

too bad someone wished it upon me

Mad rad.
You didn't capitalize your 'I' in the third stanza, and you said 'its' instead of 'it's' in the final stanza.
