For my Son

My deariest son, I want you to know that mommy loves you with all her heart and more,
You give me a reason to continue to live this life for.

I'm sorry we are separated from each other right now,
I'm working to get you home, to do so I know just how.

I can't wait for this to be in our past,
Your growing so darn fast.

Mommy adores you more than anyone could,
To take a bullet for you, I most definitely would.
