Forbidden passion

Forbidden passion

A look held to long
Words that are unspoken
The glance of a smile
Trust that could be broken
Stealing a kiss
Lips that meet and explore
A tongue longing to taste
And do so much more
Touching his arms
Muscles that are so strong
Feeling them around me
And wanting what is wrong
A path we dare not tread
A place to dangerous to go
Feelings unexplored
Emotions we dare not show
Passion unrequited
Lust unable to speak
Experiences we can never explore
A closeness we are never to seek
A memory came flooding back
I recalled the woman
The woman who was once me
Passionate and alive
Someone I will never again be able to be
But these feelings I will cherish
And privately keep
A reminder I'll treasure
And dream about when I sleep.
