Forever Friends❤️❤️❤️

I’v had the best tonic of all today
I met up with two girls from my bygone years
What a catchup we had I really have to say
The three of us shared laughter, fun & tears

Well we hadn’t seen each other in over 
four decades
Yet twas as if it was only yesterday
Perhaps our heads were slightly different shades
We got on like a house on fire anyway

We arranged to meet at 12 in Seahouses at the Ocean club 
It is the local spa center, selling alcohol just like a pub
So I had a toastie & Lynn had a scone 
Margaret wasn’t hungry so she had none

But after three latte’s later & alot of friendly chat, discussing everything about our past & lots of this & that
Reluctantly, I glanced at the time, it was past five o’clock
I couldn’t believe how time had flown by, it gave me quite a shock

Forty years or more has passed us by
Yet this chatchup was lovely with my friends & I
So thankyou lasses for meeting me
I can’t wait to see you again A.S.P
