Forever Light

Forever Light

For a single moment I lost my breath
The fear of loss kicked in, followed by tears
I never want to feel this again
Being without you would be like denying the sun
From someone dying from lack of Vitamin D
My brain, forever playing tricks
Telling me they always leave
But you're not like them
And maybe, just maybe I'm the sun for you too
What could be better than spending my life shining for you? ~kjl
