Forgotten

Forgotten

These footpaths
Familiar
Now forgotten
Stone floors
Faces forged
By life and death
Drug addicted
Walks these paths
To the church
Where salvation is expected to wait
....for the pigeon
In his path
The fucking grey annoying pigeon
Behaving as nothing has happened
Carry on
Treading these stone floors
Where bubblegum
Keeps feet in one position
Eventually reaching
The Church of God
