Forgotten love

So complicated is love
It makes you think differently.
It pulls out your heart and lays it to the ground and everyone around just stands to watch it get crushed without a sound.
Love is an emotion where right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right,
Where you try your best to prove that you're worthy, 
If that doesnt succeed, you try the orthodox ways
Slitting your wrists and writing their name,
Love letters in blood
Nothing is ever enough.

The lucky ones find it
But where do others go
The one sided lovers
Where do they stow
So complicated is love
You can never get the one,
You can either die trying
Or watch her love someother.
You can watch her hold his hand
Lean in closer and kiss 
While you stand in the shadows.
You can watch her hug him and be blissed,
While you scavage at her feet for bits.

Finally when he leaves
And a tear travels down her cheeks,
Ill be there to wipe it off
And on her forehead give a gentle kiss.
Giving her strength to pull through,
Telling her hes nothing
And you're amazing
You're everything a guy wants and more
So dont be discouraged and sore.

She smiles and tries
Then finds another guy.
i slowly crawl back to the corner,
Dragging my torn heart behind me in chains
Because everytime her's break, 
I fix it with a piece of mine
I polish it with my love and make it shine,
Brand new once more
Just to see her smile.

In the darkness i wait
Watching them date
Kissing near the shore
Travelling through the strait,
A few weeks later he gets bored and leaves
She sits on the bench and cries and heaves.
slowly i walk out and sit beside her
Hold her hand and say dont worry about it
I'm sure it wasnt meant to be
You'll find someone better
Just trust me.

I take a little piece of my heart and give it to her
I pull a joke out of nowhere and she smiles 
Im satisfied because thats all i ever want to see, She says why cant i find a guy like you
I say why couldnt you.
She hugs me and say's you're perfect
I smile and say no you are.

For the first time in my life
Finally things are going right
I feel like im on top of the world
I cried tears of joy that night.

One week later i get a call
Hello yes,  i found a guy
I think hes the one
Im going to marry him yes
I think im in love.

Shattered in despair
I crawl back to my spot,
Waiting for her to break
For her faith to shake
So i can be there to share my love
To make her smile once more
And wipe the tear of her cheek
To give her a gentle kiss
And tell her not to be scared.

Days pass and years fly
I get a sickness i cannot deny
A stiffness in my chest
At night i cannot rest,
I message her late one day
And tell her how much she meant to me
How much i loved her and cared
But now death will do us apart
I tell her to take care and be safe
To have her food on time and never take her pills late.

I tell her to never give a guy your all
Unless you know he falls

And not just your beauty

And loves you till eternity
Until he breaks every piece of his heart to make sure you're fine.

Until he tries his best to make you smile,
Until he Takes you to places you wont believe
And read you books under the night sky
