Found My Laugh

Found My Laugh

How many beautiful nights we spent were tired lies?
How many times will we say our long sad goodbyes?
Very few seconds could I bare to look in your forgetful eyes.
So many hours were stolen from me and given to the numbing highs.
Too many days I thought I could see you flying high in the skys.

Why do the stars speak so loud and shine so bright?
Why is the moon so far and out of sight?
Darkness is irrelavent, except for during the night.
I tried and I thought I could see you in the dark, I tried with all my might
Only the high has taken your shine, so I must take flight
But when you are ready to feel again, I'll save you from that hell.
To my lover who found my laugh, farewell..
